13th January - the first day at Rejsby School

On the first day we had the right of sleeping one more hour because we arrived later than what we were supposed to. We woke up at 7:50 a.m. to be ready at 8:10 o'clock because there would be a fire drill. Next we had breakfast, where we found tea, apple juice, cereals and bread.
When we finished breakfast we went to a room where two Danish students explained a game to us so we would memorise each other´s names. Nothing complicated in the beginning but then the difficulty level increased. We went to the gym area and we did two more games. 
Something that we admired were the snacks, it seemed that they were always having snacks and these always with vegetables and bread. We did a mini cake decorating contest in groups of four, and in the end we got to know the results.
The part we were more anxious was lunch as we did not know what the food would be like so when we entered the dining area, it only had vegetables, fish and something that looked not so good (tarteletter) but in fact it was good!
After lunch we went to a room and we all answered a Kahoot quiz (one about Denmark and another about Portugal). In the Denmark quiz Maria Soares and Laerke won and in the Portuguese quiz Gonçalo and Kasper won. 
More to the end, we had a surprise! We had to cover our eyes and our Danish partner took us to a table where we could find typical Danish food. A lot of the food tasted bad, but some were also really good.
As planned, in the end, we went home with our danish student.


NOTA: OS SUBLINHADOS CORRESPONDEM AO QUE TÊM DE EVITAR NOS TESTES DE PORTUGUÊS
No primeiro dia tivemos o direito de dormir mais 1h (isso porque chegamos mais tarde do que o suposto). 
Acordamos às 7h50 para estarmos às 8h10 cá fora pois ia haver uma simulação de incêndio. De seguida fomos tomar o pequeno almoço, onde encontramos chá, sumo de maçã, cereais e pão. 
Ao terminar o pequeno-almoço fomos para uma sala onde dois dinamarqueses nos explicaram o jogo. O jogo era cada um dizia o seu nome, nada de complicado mas, de seguida a dificuldade aumentou. Fomos para o pavilhão (eles cá chamam aquela área de ginásio) e fizemos dois jogos.
Algo com o que nos admiramos foram os lanches, parecia que estavam sempre a ter lanches e estes sempre com legumes e pão. Fizemos um mini concurso de bolos decorados por grupos de quatro, onde soubemos os resultados no fim.
A parte em que estávamos mais ansiosos era o almoço pois não sabíamos o que iria ser o tipo de comida então, entramos na área das refeições onde só tinha legumes, peixe e algo que tinha um aspeto não tão bom (tarteletter) mas, na realidade era bom! 
Após o almoço fomos para uma sala e respondemos todos a um quiz um sobre a Dinamarca e outro sobre Portugal. No quiz da Dinamarca ganhou a Maria Soares e a Laerke e no quiz de Portugal ganhou o Gonçalo e o Kasper. 
Mais para o fim, tivemos uma surpresa! Tivemos de tapar os olhos e o/a dinamarquês/a de cada um levou-nos para uma mesa onde se encontravam comidas típicas dinamarquesas. Muita das comidas sabiam muito mal. 
Como o planeado, no final, fomos para casa de cada um.
